COMMITMENT | AJHL forward Kyle Young joins SFU Red Leafs Travel Team

BURNABY – The Simon Fraser University Red Leafs Hockey program is pleased to announce the commitment of forward Kyle Young for the 2023.24 season.

Young, from Calgary, Alberta, joins the program with four years of experience with AJHL’s Canmore Eagles. The forward posted 13 and 15 goal seasons in 2022 and 2023, and averaged 0.67 points per game in his last season with the Junior A club.

Young will also be joining fellow Canmore Eagles alumni Cameron Chin in the red and white this upcoming season. Chin and Young played together for two shortened seasons during the pandemic in 2020 and 2021.
