BOSTON, MA – Simon Fraser is back at Agganis Arena for the first time since 2024 to take on the Boston University Terriers.

SFU returns to the ice in a matinee game against the #19 ranked Boston University Terriers. SFU’s first major feat against high-level NCAA programs came against the Terriers, earning a 1-1 tie against the #2 ranked program at the time.

“We’ve had some good results over these last three years against some of the top programs in the NCAA,” said Head Coach Mark Coletta, “The Division One environment is a different animal, so it’s exciting for the team and our guys are ready for the challenge that comes with it.”

Boston University holds a 9-8-1 record this season and their second lowest overall ranking since the last time the Terriers and Red Leafs faced off.

“Playing Boston University on Saturday night on ESPN is tremendous for our program,” continued Coletta, “BU has a historic NCAA Hockey program and we understand that not many student athletes get these kinds of opportunities, especially here in Canada.”

“This is a huge reason why we’re able to recruit the players we do.”

Puck drop is schedule for 2pm PT and will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
