SFU Red Leafs Announce 2025.26 Schedule

BURNABY, BC – The Simon Fraser University Red Leafs independent hockey program’s 2025.26 schedule is here.

The 2025.26 schedule currently consists of games across 9 collegiate leagues against opponents from the BCIHL, USports-CanadaWest, the ACHA, and the NCAA.

The Red Leafs independent team has scheduled a high five home games this season, hosting the rival University of British Columbia and Trinity Western Universities, as well as welcoming back the ACHA’s Maryville University for two more games in December. The team will also face Vancouver Island University for the first time since separating from the BCIHL.

SFU will visit 2 new opponents this year in Bentley University and Stonehill College, and another that the team hasn’t faced since 2014 in Princeton University, visiting the Tigers for the first time in program history.
