SFU announces 3 more games to 2025.26 Schedule

BURNABY, BC – SFU Red Leafs Hockey announced today that they have added three more games to the 2025.26 schedule.

In addition to the two games previously announced against Bentley and Sacred Heart on October 4th and 5th, the Red Leafs will play the Providence College Friars on October 3rd to round out the team’s opening road trip. SFU will round out the month of October back out east with a date against the Princeton University Tigers on the 25th and the Long Island University Sharks on the 27th.

The games announced today also mark three key rematches from years past. SFU last faced the Princeton Tigers back in January 2014 where the visiting Tigers routed the Red Leafs 8-1. SFU’s last games against Long Island and Providence were much more recent, with the Red Leafs visiting LIU this past October and Providence back in January 2024.

Additional games are currently being confirmed for the Red Leafs and will be announced over the coming weeks.
