SFU adds trip to Michigan for final NCAA game of 2026

BURNABY, BC – The Simon Fraser University Red Leafs are adding the #1 ranked University of Michigan Wolverines to the schedule to wrap up the 2025.26 season.

The final game of the year will be the 14th NCAA match on the season for Simon Fraser. The Red Leafs’ schedule was originally scheduled to wrap up on February 28th in Bridgewater, Massachusetts against Stonehill College.

The Red Leafs last visited the Yost Ice Arena back in September of 2023, falling to the Wolverines by a score of 8-1 in their first taste of NCAA action outside of the Alaska universities in the 10 years prior.

The final game of the season is scheduled for Thursday, March 5th at 4:00pm PT. Broadcast details will be made available closer to the date.
