RECRUITING | Former Surrey Eagle Alex Sandhu Commits to SFU BCIHL Squad

The SFU Hockey BCIHL team is pleased to announce the commitment of forward Alex Sandhu for the 2026/27 season.

A Delta, BC product, Sandhu brings a strong junior hockey résumé to SFU following time in the BCHL and NAHL. The 6-foot-2, 180-pound forward has suited up for organizations including the Surrey Eagles, Powell River Kings, Coquitlam Express, Salmon Arm Silverbacks, and St. Cloud Norsemen.

Known for his size, physical presence, and versatility up front, Sandhu has experience playing both wing and center and developed through the Burnaby Winter Club and Delta Hockey Academy systems before advancing to the junior ranks.

Sandhu will join the Red Leafs for the 2026/27 BCIHL campaign.
