RECRUITING | Former Surrey Knight Jackson Jesson Commits to 26/27 BCIHL Team

Simon Fraser University Hockey is excited to announce the commitment of defenceman Jackson Jesson for the 2026/27 BCIHL season.

A Cloverdale, BC native, Jesson brings size, physicality, and junior hockey experience to the Red Leafs lineup. The 6-foot-4, 207-pound blueliner developed through the BC minor hockey system before advancing to junior hockey with organizations including the Richmond Sockeyes and Surrey Knights.

Known as a strong defensive presence with a heavy, physical style of play, Jesson shoots left and adds reach and mobility on the back end. Elite Prospects identifies him as a defensive defenceman with puck-moving ability and a physical edge.

Jesson joins SFU Hockey after competing in the highly competitive British Columbia junior hockey landscape and will add depth and experience to the Red Leafs defensive group entering the 2026/27 BCIHL campaign.
