PLYMOUTH, MI – SFU wraps up their weekend in Michigan against Lake State.

After a tough overtime loss on Friday afternoon to Ferris State, SFU returns to the ice to take on the Lake Superior State University.

SFU’s efforts in Friday saw forwards Walker Erickson and Lucas Ceccarelli each earn a goal and an assist each, but the late push from the Bulldogs to tie it in the third and their pressure in overtime ultimately led to the overtime loss.

Lake State has a 2-2-0 record against NCAA competition this year so far and earned a 6-2 win over the US National Team Development Program on Friday night. The Lakers gave up 17 goals to Stonehill and Lindenwood over their past four games, averaging 4 goals per game and a combined 4.25 goals against average.
