GAMEDAY | Simon Fraser Red Leafs at Bentley Falcons 10.04.25

WALTHAM, MA – SFU will look to forget quickly as they return to the ice against Bentley.

SFU gets right back on the ice after a tough loss to the Providence Friars last night in Rhode Island. Despite multiple opportunities and pressure against the Friars, the Red Leafs couldn’t solve the defence until the very end, and will look to right the ship on Saturday night.

Like Providence yesterday, the Red Leafs will be the first game on Bentley’s schedule for the 2025.26 season. The Falcons finished the 2024.25 season with a 23-15-2 overall record and won their first ever Atlantic Hockey conference championship.  Bentley enters the year without their top three scorers from 2025, but captain Stephen Castanga from North Vancouver will return for his fourth year and will aim to lead the team back to championship form.
