GAMEDAY | SFU Red Leafs vs. LIU Sharks 10.27.25

‍EAST MEADOW, NY – SFU heads back to Long Island to take on the Sharks for a Monday matinee.

After a tough shutout loss at the hands of the Princeton Tigers on Saturday, the Red Leafs are on Long Island to take on the NCAA independent Long Island University Sharks in their home opener.

LIU is another team having a less-than-ideal start to their season, championing a 2-3-2 NCAA record with the team earning their second win of the year this past Saturday against Merrimack College.

The Sharks are looking to have similar success as last year, finishing with a record of 20-12-2 in 2024.25; over .500 for the first time in NCAA program history. The Red Leafs and Sharks faced each other last year in LIU’s home opener, where the back-and-forth action led to a 7-5 victory for LIU.

Puck drop is scheduled for 11:00am PT, and will be streamed live on FloHockey.
