The second annual SFU Hockey Fall Classic will take place on Friday, September 14th, 2018 at Burnaby Mountain Golf Course, proudly presented by the Vancouver Canucks Alumni Association.

Format: Texas Scramble, shotgun start
Contests: Longest Drive, KP (Men’s/Women’s), Hit-the-Net, Putting contest, SFU Golf Best Ball, Hole-in-One
Vendors: Quorum Sponsored Sausage Stand, Wine and Cheese Samples, Beer Samples,
Banquet: Dinner immediately following the round, presentations by Vancouver Canucks Alumni & SFU Hockey
Cost: $250 per player, $1000 per foursome
Last year’s event saw a great group of golfers compete alongside Vancouver Canucks Alumni including Dave Babych, Jyrki Lumme, Gerry Sillers, Gary Nylund, Larry Melnyk and Chris Oddleifson.
Last year’s event raised over $15,000 for SFU Hockey student-athletes. This year, we are raising our goal to $25,000!
This year, we are pleased to announce Carter GM as a title sponsor of the event. Our friends at Carter GM have generously agreed to offer a new vehicle as a hole-in-one prize. We’re also excited to announce sponsorships fromTD Bank, Kinpack Polyethylene Ltd, Quorum Development, BC Greenhouses and BC Collisions.
The success of this event depends on the foursomes, sponsorship and in-kind donations we receive over the summer.
With only 30 foursomes available we expect the course to fill up quickly and suggest that you purchase your foursome or single entry prior to September 1st.

The 14th green at Burnaby Mountain Golf Course
The Men’s Hockey club at SFU offers scholarships to top athletes, providing them an opportunity to compete against the best collegiate hockey teams while earning a world-class education from one of Canada’s top universities. The student-athletes that are selected for this team work hard both on and off the ice. The funds raised at this event will go directly towards supporting these student-athletes in achieving their goals, while helping keep more of Canada’s best collegiate athletes in Canada.
