On home ice SFU was crowned BCIHL champion for the 2nd straight season, 5th in team history, earning a 5-2 victory over rival VIU Mariners and capping off a 19-1 season. Nick Wicks scored twice, while Jerzy Orchard, Caleb Parkouse, and Mathieu Jallabert in his final game added insurance for SFU. SFU starting goaltender Andrew Henderson made 26 saves in the win. Noah Danforth and Garrett Dunlop had goals for VIU while Derek Krall made 35 saves in the losing effort.
