Here on the night before Christmas, we share a pair of stories about the best gift our players ever received

Best Christmas gift I ever received was my first set of goalie pads. I remember walking down the stairs and seeing a big green bag behind the tree and hoping it was a set of pads. My parents made me wait till the bitter end of the Christmas morning before I could open the bag and I will never forget how excited I was and to this day, there hasn’t been a better than that one.

The best gift was last year when my sister told my family she was pregnant.  It was the last gift we opened, and she made us all open it together.  Inside was a picture of the sonogram, and a note that said see you in July.
