The Simon Fraser University hockey club will finally kick off their season starting this Saturday against the Okanagan Lakers in Kelowna, BC.
SFU will be taking on the Lakers, consisting of players from the University of British Columbia and Okanagan College, for the fourth time this semester.
The only difference this time? Now, the points count in the standings.
Okanagan will be coming into this matchup with a 1-1-0 record after splitting their games on Vancouver Island against the UVic Vikes and VIU Mariners, while SFU looks to come home with their first two points of the year.
