The first annual SFU Hockey will take place on Thursday, September 21st, 2017 at Morgan Creek Golf and Country Club in Surrey, BC.
The inaugural event will feature:

- * Prizes for Longest Drive, Closest-to-Pin, Straightest Drive winners
- * Hole in One Prize: Trip for 2 to the 2018 PGA Tour Masters Tournament, generously donated by Investors Group

The Men’s Hockey club at SFU offers scholarships to top athletes, providing them an opportunity to compete against the best collegiate hockey teams while earning a world-class education from one of Canada’s top universities. The student-athletes that are selected for this team work hard both on and off the ice. The funds raised at this event will go directly towards supporting these student-athletes in achieving their goals, while helping keep more of Canada’s best collegiate athletes in Canada.
